IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Scottish government and chief dental officer of Scotland has advised that all general dental practices in Scotland remain closed in response to the Covid19 outbreak.

At this time we are unable to see any patients. Any patients who have severe toothache, swelling or trauma can call the normal practice number (01383 724115) and one of our team will be able to offer advice and if necessary triage to an emergency dental clinic. For dental emergencies after 5pm and over the weekend please contact NHS 24 on 111.

This is a very challenging time and we appreciate everyone’s understanding. We very much look forward to seeing everyone again in the practice but at this time we must adhere to government advice.

Stay safe and well.

Welcome To Our Practice

We are delighted to welcome new patients to our practice on a Private or Denplan basis. We are also happy to see new NHS patients (up to the age of 18 and those exempt from dental charges).

We have four caring dental surgeons in our practice who have a wealth of experience between them, two Edinburgh trained and two Dundee trained. We also have an experienced dental hygienist in the practice who trained in Edinburgh.

Our Dentists take great pride in offering all aspects of dentistry utilizing the best techniques available in all areas, in a manner which is caring and gentle.

Our approach always has the patient's best interest at heart. We offer honest, ethical and realistic advice on treatment options with transparent costs. At our Dunfermline dental practice our Dentists and Hygienist offer a broad range of treatments to patients in Fife and Lothian.

We take great pride in the quality of our dentistry and want to make your visits a pleasant experience. We can offer acupuncture as an adjunct to your treatment at no extra cost, it makes all procedures at the back of the mouth such as impressions and x-ray pictures much more comfortable.

Our aim is good dental health through preventative dentistry. That means our Dentists and our hygienist will give you regular dental advice and help you to understand how to care for your teeth and reduce the need for dental treatment. There is increasing evidence that gum health is linked to general health. We believe maintaining good gum health makes a significant contribution to maintaining good general health.
